Get mentorship & production support
Byron Booker will serve as a mentor to the Bluelit participants, drawing on his own experiences as a writer and producer of movies, tv series and live events . Bluelit creators will receive script support, one-on-one mentor calls with Byron, and his creative production team along with the AI Creators Course.

What is Lookhu?Lookhu is a fan-fueled entertainment studio platform where creatives with a dream show, or movie idea are encouraged to rally online communities and engage their way to a greenlit project.

Who should apply?Any creative storytellers who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are physically located and residing therein, and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. We’re looking for storytellers who can move an audience. Show us your dream project and demonstrate why you’re the only artist to bring it to life. We’re also looking for people who maybe wouldn’t otherwise get a shot, so don’t be afraid to show the real you.

How is Lookhu different from traditional Hollywood?Lookhu gives creatives the tools, support, and resources to be successful and respected producers. It’s a place where a creative can become a creator, build an audience, and get a project produced and distributed by a major Hollywood streamer.

How many applicants will be selected?Lookhu's platform will extend Beta invites to 20 prospective creatives. Invites will be extended to creatives who have submitted an application and whom the selection jury chooses to use the Lookhu platform to get greenlit. Selected applicants will gain access to the Creator Hub on the platform, where they can post and rally their community's support. The project with the most engagement will unlock greenlight status. During the beta, the Lookhu platform will greenlight one project.

What does success on Lookhu look like?Lookhu is for dreamers with a story in their hearts, and the ability to speak to the hearts of others. A big break on Lookhu means getting that dream fully funded and produced, with guaranteed distribution to Lookhu's 75+ million monthly active users.

How and when will I know if I'm selected?After the jury reviews applications, a batch of applicants will be invited to interview with the panel. Invites will be extended over the summer via email and phone. After interviews are held, beta creatives will be selected and informed via phone or email around Fall of 2024.

How can I withdraw my application?Contact contact@lookhu.tv to withdraw your submission. If you are far along in the application process and have signed an agreement, there may be obligations you must abide by.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open submission period begins 5/7/24 at 6:00 am PT and ends the earlier of: 1) 5/31/24 at 11:59 pm PT, or 2) when 750 applications are received.
